Lindis Pass is a 971 m high mountain pass on the border of the regions of Otago and Canterbury on the South Island of New Zealand. It lies between the towns of Cromwell and Omarama on the main line that leads inland from Otago in the Mackenzie Basin in Canterbury region.

The pass lies between the valleys of the Lindis River and Ahuriri River. The State Highway 8 crosses the pass on his way between the Mackenzie Basin and Central Otago. It is the highest point of the expressway network of the South Island and is the second highest point of the New Zealand highway network according to the Desert Road ( SH 1 ) in the interior of the North Island.
