Line Jahr

Line Jahr ( born January 16, 1984 in Drammen ) is a Norwegian ski jumper.

Career

Year won at the 2002 Norwegian Junior Championships in Hurdal, Akershus on the large hill silver and bronze on the normal hill. In 2003, she finished fifth in the overall standings of the Ladies Grand Prix. Since its introduction in 2004 /05, Norwegian starts in the Continental, the highest international jumping class of women. In the season 2005/ 06 the first time she won a jumping while opening event of the Ladies Summer Tour 2005 in Bischofshofen, until now (September 2008) it reached eleven podiums. In the Continental Cup overall standings they could twice (2004/ 05 and 2005/ 06) placed fourth.

2004 won in the year in Stryn discharged as part of the Junior World Championships, Women's unofficial championship with the team gold and individual reached fifth place. Your personal best she set on March 7, 2004 155 m on the Vikersundbakken. In the Norwegian Championships, she won silver 5x and 3x bronze.

Line Jahr is in a relationship with the active also as a ski jumper Fredrik Bjerkeengen. She lives with him in Lillehammer.

With the Olympic debut of women's ski jumping she finished ninth.
