Linha do Vouga

The Linha do Vouga is a 1000 mm narrow-gauge railway line in Portugal and is from the Comboios de Portugal ( CP) operated. It leads through the valley of the River Vouga from place to Aveiro Espinho parallel to the Linha do Norte.

History

After the railway line was inaugurated by King Manuel II in 1908, operated the Companhia do Vale do Vouga and 1946 this route. On 30 December 1946, the operation was transferred to the State CP Comboios de Portugal.
