Linia, Pomeranian Voivodeship

Linia ( German Linde, Kashubian lenio ) is a village with a seat of a rural community in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the circle Wejherowo ( Neustadt in West Prussia ).

Geographical location

The Kaschubendorf Linia is located 20 kilometers southeast of the city Lębork ( Lauenburg in Pommern ) and 32 kilometers southwest of the county town Wejherowo. Through the town Coming performs a secondary road that from Lębork ( along Route 6, former German Reich Straße 2, today Europastraße 28) further to Łebno ( Lebno, at the voivodeship 224) leads.

History

Before 1920, Linia was a village in the district of Neustadt in West Prussia in the district of the Prussian province of West Prussia, Danzig. Since 1874 the community Linde belongs to the district of Occalitz (now Polish: Okalice ), in the communities Klutschau ( Tluczewo ) Kantrschin ( Kętrzyno ) Wahlendorf ( Niepoczołowice ) and Werder ( Zakrzewo ) were incorporated.

On 24 October 1940, the District Linde is formed - in the district of Neustadt in West Prussia in the district of Gdansk Danzig- West Prussia. It consisted of the municipalities Kantrschin, Klutschau, Linde, Wahlendorf, Waldeck and Werder.

In 1945, Linde was under the name Linia back to Poland and was ( 1975-1998 voivodeship Gdańsk) integrated in the powiat Wejherowski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Linia is the district and the seat of Gmina same today.

Gmina Linia
