Linn County (Oregon)
Linn County is a county located in the state of Oregon of the United States with 103 069 inhabitants, in 2005 there were 108 914. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Albany.
The county has an area of 5,983 square kilometers; of which 47 square kilometers (0.78 percent) of water.
According to the census of 2000, there were 103.069 people in the county. There were 39,541 households, and 28,232 families. The population density was 17 people per square kilometer. The racial the population was composed of 93.20 % White, 0.32 % African American, 1.27 % Native American, 0.78 % Asian, 0.15 % Pacific Islander residents from the 1.80 % percent from other ethnic groups; 2.49% were descended from two or more races. 4.38% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
Of the 39,541 households out of which 32.00 % have children under the age of 18 living with them. 56.90 % were married couples living together, 10.00 % had a female householder with no husband. 28.60% were non-families. 23.00% of all households and 10.10% had someone living alone at the age of 65 years or older.
