Linux Game Publishing

Linux Game Publishing ( LGP short ) is a software company based in Nottingham, England, which specializes in computer games to port to Linux.

History

The company was founded in 2001 by Michael Simms in response to the threatened closure of the company Loki Software, which had a similar goal. Frequently LGP was porting work to other developers on, for example, Knights and Merchants to RuneSoft or Postal ² to ex- Loki employee Ryan C. Gordon, and acted for these games only as a publisher. January 31, 2012 handed founder Michael Simms management of the company to Clive Crous, as the reason he gave health problems and burnout on.
