Linux User Group

A Linux User Group LUG short, is a group of Linux - interested individuals who meet regularly. Most LUG can be found in towns or districts and hold regular meetings or organize events around Linux, such as installation parties. However, the issues are usually not limited to Linux, but Linux is a symbol of freedom.

Analogous to the Bangla there are also Unix User Groups ( UUG ), which deal about Linux also going well with other Unix derivatives, such as the freely available BSD (FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD ), but also other commercial Unices.
