Linxi County, Inner Mongolia

The circle Linxi (林西县, Linxi Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Chifeng ( mongol. Ulanhad ) in the northeast of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. It has an area of 3933 km ² and has 240,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large village Linxi (林西 镇).

The site of the old copper mining and smelting of Dajing ( Dajing gu tongkuang Yizhi大 井 古 铜矿 遗址) since 2001 has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 5-17 ).
