Lipcani (Cyrillic Липканы / Lipkany ) is a city in Moldova. It is located in Rajon Briceni and south of the village a border crossing point to Romania is operated. Since 1893 Lipcani also has a railway connection to the present railway route Chernivtsi - Ocniţa.

Its name from the city by the Polish- Lithuanian settlement Muslims, known as the Lipka Tatars, during the Ottoman rule.
