Liquefaction
Liquefaction is the transfer of a substance in the liquid state. This may be accomplished by two processes:
- Starting from a solid by melting
- Starting from a gas by condensation or pressure ( pressure liquefaction) eg air liquefaction
The properties of a material change in the phase transition from the solid or gaseous to the liquid phase.
