Lisa Cholodenko

Lisa Cholodenko ( born June 5, 1964 in Los Angeles, California) is an American filmmaker.

Life

Cholodenko grew up in Los Angeles. There she graduated from the School of the Arts at Columbia University, a Master of Fine Arts.

Even her short film Dinner Party was excellent. The feature High Art won the Sundance Film Festival Waldo Salt Award for the script writers, and Ally Sheedy was awarded for their outstanding performance the award from the National Society of Film Critics. Both High Art and Laurel Canyon celebrated at the Director's Fortnight at Cannes premiere. Her latest work, The Kids Are All Right, was honored at the 60th Berlin Film Festival with the Teddy Award for best gay and lesbian feature film. 2011 Cholodenko received for their screenplay Oscar nomination.
