Lisa Demetz

Lisa Demetz ( born May 21, 1989 in Bolzano, South Tyrol) is an Italian ski jumper.

Career

Lisa Demetz began in 2003 with the ski jumping and was already in her debut year Italian junior champion in Pellizzano, this was also the first title of a ski jumper in Italy. This title win she repeated in Toblach 2005. Also in 2005, she won the inaugural title on the normal hill at the women. Since 2003 she launches internationally with FIS competitions, she made her debut in August 2003 in Bischofshofen while jumping on the K70 hill at rank 29 The first use of the FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup followed in the season 2004/ 05 in Park City, where she twice Eleventh was. Demetz took from there on a regular basis at the Continental Cup and was able to conquer space with two first podium place in August 2005 in Meinerzhagen, in January 2006 in Toblach she managed that again. There it three years later also celebrated their first victory ahead of her teammate Evelyn Insam and the Norwegian Line year.

Demetz took at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in the women's ski jumping was held for the first time, in difficult conditions with snowfall and changing wind 18th place In the Winter Universiade 2011 Erzurum in Turkey they took the third place.

Lisa Demetz lives in Ortisei in Val Gardena and was a student of Skihandelsschule Stams.
