Lisa Fischer

Lisa Fischer ( born December 1, 1958 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American R & B singer. She had a hit single in the U.S. in 1991 How Can I Ease The Pain.

Prior to her solo career, she escorted tours of Luther Vandross and took over the background voice for musicians like Billy Greene and Melba Moore.

For their album So Intense, she won a Grammy Award in 1992 for best female R & B singer. In 1993 she sang the ballad Colors of Love, appeared on the soundtrack album of the film Made in America.

In the mid-1990s it was again quiet around them.

She is currently studio singer with Atlantic Records and GRP Records. Since the Steel Wheels Tour 1989 she has regularly represented as a background singer with the Rolling Stones tours, with the exception of the Urban Jungle Tour 1990. Has there a real fan club. Even with Tina Turner she was as a backing singer on tour.
