Lisa Mitchell
Lisa Helen Mitchell (born 22 March 1990 in Canterbury, England) is an Australian singer- songwriter from Albury, New South Wales. Their debut EP made it to number 1 on the iTunes charts in Australia, and thus attracted the attention of Little Victories, a subsidiary of Sony / ATV, when she signed in 2007. Their music can be classified with the folk / pop.
Career
With three years she moved with her parents and her sister Nicole from England to Australia. At twelve, she learned to play guitar, especially folk and rock, and came in small cafes in her hometown Albury and at small events on. Furthermore they had. The song Incomplete Lullaby was also used in the Australian dance reality show So You Think You Can Dance.
Towards the end of the year they began their first studio album to write and moved to London. They, among other things worked with Ben Lee, Kevin Mitchell, Clare Bowditch and many other well-known musicians and producers. Their second EP Welcome to the Afternoon came out on March 31, 2008. The digital single Neopolitan Dreams by precisely this is used in the Australian comedy show Packed to the Rafters and various commercials. A large part of 2008 she spent in London, to write new songs for their first studio album " The Attic Space", which has since been renamed " Wonderland ". In November, she signed with RCA Records. Their first single from the album Neopolitian Dreams came out on January 19, one more time. The album was released in July 2009. In early 2009 they toured as support for Jason Mraz. Currently she is on another tour of Australia.
