Lisa Vitting

Lisa Vitting ( born July 9, 1991, Moers ) is a German swimmer. She launched by mid-2009, the SG Mülheim. Since the 2009/2010 season, she has the first right to start for SG Essen.

Lisa Vitting came at the age of seven years for swimming, their first competition they played with nine years. The first major achievements came in the SV NRW Short Course Championships in Aachen 2004, where the then 13 -year-old 50 -meter freestyle, 50 meter backstroke and 100 meter medley German aufstellte records for her age group. At the German Championships 2004 vintage in Leipzig Vitting won bronze over 50 meters freestyle their first medal at the national level. Followed in 2005 in Berlin the title of the German youth champion in the 50 meter freestyle. In addition, she finished second in her class in second place on 50 meters butterfly and third in the 100 meters freestyle.

The German Swimming Federation was Vitting at the European Swimming Championships for Juniors in the start of 2006 to Mallorca 4 × 100 meter freestyle relay. As a starting swimmer she dropped the good time of 56.65 seconds the foundation for winning the silver medal of the season. Vitting 2008 belonged to the DSV squad for the Junior World Championships in Monterrey. With the 4 × 100-meter freestyle relay, she won the silver medal. She was also in the squad for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.

In the German Short Course Championships 2008 in Essen, she gained her first national title in the open class in the 100 meters and 200 meters freestyle and qualified for the European Short Course Championships in Rijeka. The Short Course European Championships she gained since then two times (2008, 2009) 3rd place and a time (2010) a 2nd place in 4 x 50 m freestyle and a time (2010) a 2nd place in 4 x 50 m medley.

In the European Swimming Championships in Budapest in 2010, she won along with Daniela Samulski, Silke Lippok and Daniela Schreiber, the first gold medal for the German team in the freestyle relay.

At the FINA / Arena World Cup 2010 in Berlin, she reached the final of the 200 meters freestyle.

Lisa Vitting reached with the German swim relay team Britta Steffen, Silke Lippok and Daniela Schreiber bronze at the World Swimming Championships 2011 in Shanghai.

In the European Swimming Championships 2012 in Debrecen won the equally composite freestyle relay gold for the German team.

At the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, the freestyle relay reached the 9th place in 4 x 100 m freestyle with Vitting.

2013 ended Lisa Vitting the age of 22 officially announced their swimming career.
