Lisa Willis

Lisa Willis ( born June 13, 1984 in Long Beach, California, United States) is a professional basketball player. She currently plays for the New York Liberty in the Women's National Basketball Association.

College

Lisa Willis played until 2006 for the women's basketball team at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Women's National Basketball Association

Lisa Willis was selected by the Los Angeles Sparks at the fifth position in the WNBA Draft 2006. Currie finished the 2006 season with an average of 4.6 points in 13.3 minutes per game. In the 2007 season they played only eight games for the Sparks, after which it was transferred to the New York Liberty. In the eight games for the Sparks Willis played an average of 9.6 minutes per game in that time, she scored 2.3 points. After switching to the Liberty their playing time improved to 9.8 minutes and their points average to 3.8 points per game.
