LisaRaye McCoy ( born September 23, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American actress.

Life and career

LisaRaye McCoy was born in 1966 in Chicago, Illinois. She attended Eastern Illinois University. Her younger half-sister is the U.S. rapper Da Brat. She was married twice. In her first marriage she went with the former NFL football player Tony Martin of the New York Jets of 23 September 1992 to 31 March 1994. Then she married the minister of the Turks and Caicos Islands Michael Misick E. on April 8, 2006. This marriage was divorced on 21 December 2008. From a previous relationship her daughter, who was born on 20 December 1989 is derived.

Her acting debut was celebrated in the low-budget film Reasons in 1996. Following year she starred in two episodes of the TV series A terribly nice house with.
