List of abductors of the human body

In medicine, refers to the notion of abduction ( from Latin: abducere = lead away ) the abduction, for example, an arm or a leg or a movement of a body part (eg thumb) from the center of the body or limbs axis away. The opposite is the adduction.

Accordingly, the muscles which allow the movements, also referred to as abductors or adductors.
