List of Administrators of Dadra and Nagar Haveli

The following table lists the administrators of Dadra and Nagar Haveli with respective term of office. The formerly belonging to Portuguese India area was occupied in 1954 by Indian nationalists ( Dadra on July 22, 1954 and Nagar Haveli on August 2, 1954) and explains the Portuguese rule the Indian National Day on August 15, 1954 to be over. As the " Liberated Areas of Dadra and Nagar Haveli " it was ruled until 1961. Since August 11, 1961 Dadra and Nagar Haveli is formally a union territory of India Union and is managed by an administrator. From 1962 to 1992, the Lieutenant Governor (Lieutenant Governor ) and was governor ( governor) of Goa in personal union also Administrator of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Since 1987, the respective administrator of the Indian Administrative Service is also responsible for the union territory of Daman and Diu.
