Ian Millar

Through the Olympic boycott of Canada to the Games in 1980 Ian Millar missed another Olympic participation.

Hubert Raudaschl

Raudaschl was already as a replacement to the Games in 1960 in the squad, but did not in competition for use.

Paul Elvstrøm

Elvstrøm also in 1964 substitute in the Danish team but did not play. In the last two participations, he sailed with his daughter Trine.

Durward Knowles

Knowles launched in 1948 for the UK and from 1952 for the Bahamas. In his last start in 1988, he was 70 years with the oldest participants in the games and is one of the oldest active participants in the Olympic history.

Afanasijs Kuzmins

Kuzmin took under the name Afanasi Kuzmin first for the Soviet Union at the Olympics in part. After gaining independence, he started for his home country of Latvia. An additional Olympic participation was denied him by the Olympic boycott of the Soviet Union in 1984.

Rajmond Debevec

Debevec launched in 1984 and 1988 for Yugoslavia, then for Slovenia.

Seiko Hashimoto

Hashimoto has participated as so far only the athletes listed here both summer and winter games. Your only bronze medal she won in 1992 in speed skating.

Josefa Idem

Josefa Idem launched in 1984 and 1988 for the Federal Republic of Germany ( one bronze ), followed by Italy.

Jos Lansink

Ivan Osiier

The Danish fencer came on seven Olympic appearances, although his career was interrupted by both World Wars and thus by the failure of the Olympic Games in 1916, 1940 and 1944. He also waived because of his Jewish origin to participate in the Games of 1936, to protest against the German Nazi regime.

Merlene Ottey

Ottey began to 2000 for Jamaica, 2004 for Slovenia. The bronze medal over 100 meters at the Games in Sydney in 2000, she received later due to the doping disqualification of Marion Jones. The IOC took the official reallocation of medals, in December 2009.

John Michael Plumb

Plumb each won the Olympic gold medal in eventing with the American team at the Games in 1976 and 1984. For the Games in 1980 the U.S. was because of the Olympic boycott not at the start. 1988 Plumb was missing due to injury.

Zoran Primorac

Primorac launched in 1988 for Yugoslavia, then in Croatia.

Nino Salukwadse

The marksman from Tbilisi launched in 1988 for the Soviet Union in 1992 for the so-called United team of athletes of the former Soviet Union and since 1996 for Georgia.

Ralf Schumann

Ralf Schumann belonged to the already nominated team of the GDR for the games in 1984. The Olympic boycott prevented further participation Schumann.

Jasna Šekarić

The marksman from Belgrade started in 1988 for Yugoslavia, in 1992 as Independent Olympic participant, then three times for Serbia and Montenegro and Serbia since 2008.

Lesley Thompson

The Canadian rower had already missed a 1980 Olympic participation, since Canada boycotted the games in Moscow. In 2004 she was missing because of a temporary withdrawal from competitive sports.
