List of content management frameworks

A Content Management Framework (CMF ) is a component framework for rapid development of content management systems. Within the framework, ( = regulatory framework ), there are software modules such as access protection, a database interface, a template engine or various search functions. Most of CMF are imaged using scripting languages ​​and are mainly used for development of network -based content management systems.

Examples of content management frameworks are ProcessWire, SilverStripe, Apache Cocoon, Blue Wonder, DbXwebApp, Drupal, eZ Publish, Midgard, MODX, Nuxeo EP, Orchard, TYPO3, Zikula and Zope.
