List of counties in Wyoming
The U.S. state of Wyoming is divided into 23 counties. The first five counties, Laramie, Sweetwater, Carbon, Albany and Uinta were created with the creation of the territory of Wyoming, the precursor region of the later state in 1868 or shortly before.
