Diplomatic relations of Liechtenstein

The existing six Liechtenstein embassies and three permanent missions (Geneva, Strasbourg and New York) to international organizations.

Liechtenstein Embassy to the Holy See is occupied by any resident ambassador. The Ambassador is located in Vaduz.

Since April 2011, the Liechtenstein Embassy in Vienna by double accreditation is also responsible for the Czech Republic.

Since 1919, Switzerland has played at the request of the Liechtenstein government to safeguard the interests of Liechtenstein and its nationals in the countries for which no Liechtenstein authorities abroad. The Swiss ambassador represented the Government of Liechtenstein as part of a collection agency.
