List of Fraggle Rock characters

The Omniscient dump ( engl.: all- knowing, all -seeing Trash Heap ) named Marjorie is invented by Jim Henson puppet that appears in the television series Fraggle Rock.

She lives in the woods behind the castle of Gorgs, the opponents of the Fraggles. Marjorie is a compost pile, which consists among other things of potato peelings, grass, grapefruit and cans. This compost pile was brought back to life mysteriously one day and serves the Fraggles as an oracle, when they have problems.

Marjorie has two rat-like sidekicks: Gunge and Philo, who also act as a representative and interpreter of the oracles of the dump. Gunge and Philo, they may appeal to even by her first name " Marjorie ," what else is not permissible for anyone. Say the two rats " The dump has spoken! " The talk time for petitioners is over.

As a metaphor for the Internet

Within the Internet culture are referred to as " omniscient dump " with an ironic and critical undertone and the Internet generally or search engines like Google.
