The classification of fungi lists all taxa of fungi to the level of order. The present system follows the 2007 data published in the " Assembling the Fungal Tree of Life" project version that was compiled by 67 scientists. Later descriptions of orders or classes specified (see References ).

Scientific naming conventions
The fungi forming under the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi and plants ( ICN) the name of each rank with the following suffixes to the systematic hierarchy - of the order down the same suffixes which the plants:
German naming conventions
The German nomenclature is based mainly on the generic names in the " List of Figures major European mushrooms". Higher taxa build on it. Families are identified by the suffix "- related" and orders by the suffix " -like" - below is an example:
