List of GE locomotives

This list provides an overview of the products manufactured by General Electric locomotives.

General Electric supplied initially primarily the electrical equipment for the electrical and the electric locomotives. Most was working with ALCo locomotives were marketed from 1940 to 1953 under the name " Alco -GE ". Vehicles manufactured 1924-1935 together with Alco and the diesel engine manufacturer Ingersoll-Rand can be found in the list of diesel locomotives from Ingersoll-Rand.
