List of Governors of Madhya Pradesh

The following table lists the Governors of Madhya Pradesh since the creation of the state in 1956 with respective term of office. Madhya Pradesh was created from parts of the Central Provinces and Berar separately managed, Madhya Bharat, Vindhya Pradesh and Bhopal. The area of Chhattisgarh was separated in 2000 from Madhya Pradesh as a separate state.
