List of Governors of Mizoram

The following table lists the Governors of Mizoram with respective term of office. With the redesign of the north-eastern India after the Bangladesh war Mizoram was dissolved on 21 January 1972 as an independent union territory from the state of Assam. In the first transition months he was a Chief Commissioner before, then a Lieutenant Governor (Lieutenant Governor ). Since February 20, 1987 Mizoram has the status of a federal state with Governor.
