List of Governors of Odisha

The following table lists the Governors of Odisha on since India's independence with respective term of office. The name reflects the state of Odisha since November 4, 2011, prior to which he was called Orissa. A governorship there was already in Orissa since April 1, 1936 as the oriyasprachigen territories under British colonial administration were to form a single province. The first Indian-born governor was from 1 April 1946 to the founding of the Indian state Chandulal Trivedi Madhavlal ( 1893-1981 ).
