List of Governors of Rajasthan

The following table lists the Governors of Rajasthan with respective term of office. On November 1, 1956, the State created by the States Reorganization Act in the present boundaries with a governor. The area consisted of Rajasthan from 1948 in areas of the Rajputana Agency as a merger of the Rajput princely states and was initially a short time under the leadership of Maharao Bhim Singh II ( 1909-1991 ) of Kota as " Rajpramukh " and then from April 1948 to July 1955 the Maharana Bhopal Singh (1884-1955) of Udaipur as " Maharajpramukh ", who died in office, and the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II (1912-1970) of Jaipur as " Rajpramukh ".
