List of Joint Premiers of the Province of Canada
This list outlines the Prime Minister (English premier ) to the province of Canada. Taking into account the period between 1841 ( unification of the colonies Upper Canada and Lower Canada ) and 1867 ( Canadian Federation). The government was headed by two Prime Ministers at the same time, one from the English part ( now Ontario ) came, the other from the French speaking part (now Quebec ). Officially, a distinction was made between the actual Prime Minister and a Deputy Prime Minister.
