List of New Testament lectionaries

A Lectionary of the New Testament is a copy of a liturgical book for reading, which also includes parts of the New Testament. Lectionaries may be written in uncials or minuscules of the Greek letters. When writing material used parchment, papyrus, vellum or paper.

List of known or important lectionaries

  • The numbers ( # ) follow the standard system of Caspar René Gregory.
  • Datings are rounded up to the next 50 years ( with the exception of lectionaries which have been dated by the writers ).
  • The content relates only to the Gospels (Evangelist Arion ) and lessons from other parts of the New Testament except the Revelation ( Apostolos ). Sometimes the percentage obtained a code is limited so that only certain books, chapters or even verses only can be specified. Related articles, if present, generally relate to only one parent for verses part.

Until 2012 2453 lectionaries manuscripts were cataloged by the Institute for New Testament Textual Research in Münster.
