Non-person is the term for an unwanted or poorly kept or declared people. This may relate about the fact that the person is ignored by the media. Even by government agencies may be prescribed to ignore. Thus, (not only in dictatorships ) people are occupied with speech or publication bans or they are no longer mentioned in public statements or removed from earlier publications.

Similar meaning " non-person " was also deleted as a novel concept in Newspeak from 1984 for persons to whom any souvenirs. It is done in such a way as if the person never existed.

Non-person is also a technical term in terms of body language. In this context, a person is ignored, which committed an " area of injury ," thus has not complied with the (usually) socially acceptable distance. This person is ignored by the " owner " of the former mining area in order to avoid a confrontation. An example of this is a passenger in the bus, which sits next to another. The unnatural closeness between strangers is ignored if the area can not be defended or needs.
