The single and album charts compiled weekly by Media Control in 1988 and were comprised of 75 positions. They reflect the sale of physical media ( vinyl and CD) resist. Sales were evaluated within a week ( Monday to Saturday). The official publication of the charts was performed on Monday three weeks after the end of the survey period.
