This list of number-one hits in Germany in 1990. It was in this year, seven number-one singles and eleven number-one albums.
The single and album charts compiled weekly by Media Control and were comprised of 100 positions. They reflect the sale of physical media ( vinyl and CD) resist. To determine the locations 51 to 100 and the radio insert the title was used. Sales were evaluated within a week ( Monday to Saturday). The official release date of the charts and was on Monday three weeks after the end of the survey period.
