List of number-one hits of 2013 (Germany)
The single and album charts are compiled weekly by Media Control. They reflect not only download purchases and the sale of recorded music ( in the vast majority of CDs). Evaluation period is from Friday to Thursday of the following week. On Tuesday on the charts are first announced for the music industry, the official publication takes place on Fridays it.
The year 2013 was marked by frequent changes in particular at the top of the album charts. With 40 different number-one albums of two years previously established record of 33 albums was again far exceeded. Although 17 number-one songs are also a high value for German standards, but are still well below the 23 top titles of 2003.
