List of Olympic medalists in freestyle skiing

The list of Olympic gold medalist in freestyle skiing lists all the winners and the second and third place winners of the freestyle skiing competitions at the Olympic Winter Games, broken down by men and women and the various competitions on. In another part are all Olympic medalists, separately for men and women listed. It concludes with the individual nations ratings.

Competitions

The competitions in freestyle skiing include since the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, both among women than among men following five disciplines:

  • Moguls since the games in 1992 with seven competitions ( A demonstration at the games of 1988)
  • Jumping since the games from 1994, each with six competitions ( Two demonstrations at the Games of 1988 and 1992 )
  • Ski Cross since the games of 2010 with two competitions
  • Slopestyle since the Games of 2014, each with a competition
  • Halfpipe since the Games of 2014, each with a competition

The following discipline is not olympic:

  • Skiballett only as a demonstration discipline at the Games in 1988 and 1992.

A total of 34 gold medals in freestyle skiing were awarded at the Winter Olympics so far. (Updated: February 23, 2014). In the demonstration competitions no medals were awarded.

  • Position: Specifies the order of the athletes again. This is determined by the number of gold medals. With the same number of silver medals are compared, and then won the bronze medals.
  • Name: Lists the name of the athlete.
  • Country: Denotes the country that launched the athlete. With a change of nationality, the country is named, for the athlete scored the last medal.
  • From: The year in which the athlete has won the first medal.
  • To: The year in which the athlete has won the last medal.
  • Gold: Reports the number of gold medals won.
  • Silver: Reports the number of silver medals won.
  • Bronze: Reports the number of bronze medals won.
  • Total: Reports the total number of medals won.

The results from the demonstration competitions are not included in these lists because they were not part of the official program and no medals were awarded.
