Competitions

The short track speed skating competitions for the men since the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City include the following four disciplines:

  • 500 meters since the games from 1994 with six contests.
  • 1000 meters since the games from 1992 with seven contests.
  • 1500 meters since the games of 2002 with four competitions.
  • 5000 Meter Relay since the games from 1992 with seven contests.

The games of 1988 in Calgary demonstration competitions took place over distances of 500, 1000, 1500 and 3000 meters, and a squadron of about 5000 meters. In the demonstration competitions no medals were awarded.

Total gold medals were awarded in 24 competitions.
