List of parks in Montreal
Under the name Grands parcs de Montréal ( " Great Parks of Montreal" ) summarizes the 17 major parks and nature reserves in the area of the city of Montreal. These green spaces are together nearly 1,800 acres in size and have, because of their biodiversity of particular importance. They serve the urban population for recreational purposes and for leisure activities. Extensions of the parking network are planned.
