In the list of political parties in Greece all parties of Greece politically active are listed.
The Greek political landscape is still relatively new, there ( was, however, banned long ) up to the Communist Party, which has existed since 1918, almost all the parties were founded in 1974 after the fall of the junta. The political landscape is, although the Greek electoral law strongly favors larger parties, relatively fragmented, especially due to the fractious Left in Greece. Long the policy was largely determined by five parties. The two major parties, New Democracy ( ND) and Pan-Hellenic Socialist Movement ( PA.SO.K. ) tied while the majority of the electorate. As a result of the financial and economic crisis, the political landscape was, however, severely shaken; the major parties lost trailers, chips and new companies were formed.
