List of political parties in India

The political parties of India are divided at the state level in national parties and parties. This order shall give the Election Commission of India.

National parties

To be recognized as a national party of India, a political party must have been recognized in at least four states of India. If this is the case, that party is of the Election Commission of India ( Election Commission of India ) is automatically registered as a national party. A party gets the recognition in a State, if it is there at least 5 years politically active, accounting for 4% of the state to the Indian lower house ( Lok Sabha ) sends or 3.33 % of the federal state Lower House ( Vidhan Sabha ) from its members is.
