List of viceroys of Sardinia
From 1418 to 1720 the island of Sardinia belonged to the crown of Aragon and later to Spain; in this period the country was ruled by viceroys:

1707 the Kingdom of Sardinia was occupied during the Spanish War of Succession of Austria and also awarded in the peace treaties of 1713/14 this, but that already in 1720 exchanged it with the kingdom of Sicily; so finally made the island under the rule of the House of Savoy.
