Lit, Sweden

Lit is a locality ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Jämtland County and the historic county of Jämtland.

Lit is 23 km north of Östersund on the European road 45 In Lit there are some shops and a petrol station. The Church of Lit dates from the year 1797. The station is located on the Inland Railway and is served in the summer months for passenger services, outside of time will only freight instead.
