Lita Ford

Lita Ford ( born September 19, 1958 in London, England as Lita Rossana Ford) is a British rock singer and guitarist who had their greatest popularity in the 1980s.

Internationally known Lita Ford was with the band The Runaways, emerged from the well-known solo artists such as Joan Jett. After the dissolution of the Runaways 1979 she started her solo career.

In 1987, she took along with Ozzy Osbourne on the duet " Close My Eyes Forever", which became a hit. The song is included on her 1988's album Lita, as well as The Best of Lita Ford.

Lita Ford from 1986 to 1992, Chris Holmes, the guitarist of the band WASP, married. Since 1994 she has been with Jim Gillette, former vocalist of the band Nitro, married, with whom she has two sons. In a radio interview in February 2011, Ford announced a divorce from Jim Gillette.

A figure in the video game Brütal Legend for Playstation 3 and X -Box 360 is based on Lita Ford and carries not only the name but also the appearance.
