Usually, however, a selection of various saints will be taken, including those of local or special for the occasion meaning ( eg, name cartridge, cartridge Church, Diocese of Holy, holy virgins ). A shorter version is part of the consecration of the baptismal water in the celebration of the Easter Vigil. Also, invocations, prayers and Oration can be varied according to the occasion.

To all litany kneel, except during the Easter period. Where the Litany is sung in a consecration service or perpetual profession, the candidate or professed prosternieren according to ancient custom in the sanctuary.
