Lito Vitale

Héctor Facundo " Lito " Vitale ( born December 1, 1961 in Villa Adelina, Buenos Aires Province) is an Argentine rock musician who is active as a keyboardist and pianist, percussionist and composer.

In 1975, the Los Vitale Músicos Independientes Asociados (MIA ), a project in which a total of about 50 musicians, as well as sound engineers, lighting technicians, etc. participated. Until 1979 created four albums here. During this time he was also a member of Luis Alberto Spinetta Spinetta Jade band and worked with Dino Salvazi and Manolo Juárez.

In 1980 his first album Sobre Miedos, Creencias y Supersticiones. In 1985, he teamed up with Bernardo Baraj and Lucho González to the group El Trio together, their self-titled debut album has sold about 35,000 times. In a second trio he worked with González and Jorge Cumbo. In 1988 he founded the Lito Vitale Cuarteto ( with Marcelo Torres, Manuel Miranda and Christian Judurcha ), whose debut album was Ese amigo de Alma sold in Argentina alone 200,000 times.

From 1992 to 1995 and from 1998 to 2000, Vitale, a late-night show on Canal 13, in which he introduced popular musicians and music and to which he also invited actors, painters and journalists. The show was in 1994 awarded the Premio Martín Fierro. Since the 1980s, he also composed music for television and movies. A selection he released in 1995 on the album Pantallas. In the same year the album La memoria del tiempo with arrangements of classical compositions appeared on the next Vitale himself among others the singer Mercedes Sosa, Jairo, Sandra Mihanovich, Litto Nebbia and Juan Carlos Baglietto participated.

2003 presented Vitale with his quintet and guests Ernesto Snajer, Diego Clemente, Guido Martínez, Pipi Piazzolla and Martín González, the program Un solo destino. With a new quartet in 2005 he published the album Vivo en Argentina. Appeared in 2007 with El otro the first album can be heard on the Vitale as a guitarist and singer.
