Litsa Spathi

Litsa Spathi (born 1958 ) is a contemporary German - Greek painter who is also active in the areas of Fluxus and Mail Art. She lives in Germany since 1973 and is currently working in Heidelberg and Breda (Netherlands).

Since 1990 she is wearing work to artists journals and artist books at, exhibited in solo exhibitions and participates in group exhibitions. It was supported in the context of arts funding the State of Baden -Wuerttemberg from the authorities in Karlsruhe. She undertakes study trips to various European countries. Her work is in national and international archives, museums and collections.

Spathi coined the term " Fluxus Poetry" to describe their artistic activities in the field of Visual Poetry.

In 2003 she created with Ruud Janssen the Fluxus Heidelberg Center.
