Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd

The Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd (Latin: Fratres Parvi Boni pastoris, religious symbol: BGS ), or in German as " Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd ", are a Catholic religious order for men.

Founded on January 19, 1951 in Albuquerque ( USA) by Brother Mathias Barrett, the community is now an institute of pontifical right. The members of the community are active in different directions of the charity and working in health and social services. They live in a monastic community and have four monasteries in the U.S., two in Canada and one each in Haiti, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
