Little Falls is a town in Herkimer County, New York in the United States. In 2010 the town had 1587 inhabitants. Little Falls was named after the local waterfalls.

The Town of Little Falls is east of Utica, and at its eastern end, the City of the same name.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the Town of Little Falls has a total area of 58.5 km ², of which 58.0 km ² on hilly land and 0.5 km ² omitted ( = 0.75 %) to water.

The area of ​​the town extends on both sides of the Mohawk River.

New York State Route 169 and New York State Route 170, both of which run in a north-south direction, meeting within the City of Little Falls. New York State Route 5 runs in an east -west direction and follows the Mohawk River.
