Little Green Cars
The Little Green Cars are an Irish folk-rock band from Dublin.
Biography
The Little Green Cars were established in 2007 as a teen band from Adam O'Regan, Stephen Appleby and Faye O'Rourke. The members at that time were all around 15 years old and reinforced with Donagh O'Leary, Dylan Lynch and the Indian-born pianist and keyboardist Utsav Lal, but left the band. After finishing school, she decided to start together in the music business. She quickly made a name for himself, completed more gigs and self-released two EPs production with a total of seven titles.
Their performances brought them beyond Ireland to London, where one of the founders of label Young and Lost Club became aware of them. 2011 then appeared the song The John Wayne, which earned them further recognition. The following year the band in England from Iceland Records and by the U.S. label Glass Note Records was signed. The single was released again and this time was able to place in the Irish charts. At the same time was taken up with Markus Dravs, including producer for Mumford & Sons and Coldplay, the debut album Absolute Zero. In addition, it was first completed several appearances in North America. The Sound of BBC poll of them came on the nomination list for the coming musician of the year 2013. Prior to the release of the album they went with Jake Bugg on England tour and they were booked for a larger North American tour, including for SXSW Festival.
